Texas Department of Transportation

This SOW covers a comprehensive project for the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT), integrating both electrical and fiber optic systems. Scheduled for a 2‑month timeline and estimated to exceed $600,000, our goal is to deliver robust, future-ready infrastructure improvements.

TXDOT Electric and Fiber Optic Bid

This project is to provide the Texas State Department of Transportation with a state-of-the-art electrical and fiber optic system that meets stringent industry standards while ensuring a smooth, transparent process.

This SOW covers a complex infrastructure project involving both electrical and fiber optic systems for the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT). Sean’s Consulting Service presents a detailed cost estimate and work plan for conduit installation, conductor runs, fiber cabling, equipment placement, and system testing.

Materials include nearly 5,000 linear feet of PVC conduit and over 5,000 feet of fiber optic cabling (ranging from 6 to 36 strands), with associated enclosures, junction boxes, and lighting poles. Labor is carefully calculated for multiple trades—local electricians, helpers, and fiber technicians.

Equipment rentals are also specified: trenching machines, splicing machines, optical loss test kits, and a lump sum for tools and safety gear. Travel and lodging costs are accounted for the fiber team, including flights, car rentals, hotel accommodations, and per diem for meals.

We were excited to bring our expertise to this significant infrastructure upgrade.
